Description

If you are looking for a fast growing broiler, this breed will be your best choice. It is the same breed that you are used to seeing in the grocery store as it is what most commercial farms raise for meat. With a low feed conversion rate of 3 pounds to 1 pound gained, the Cornish Cross will not steer you wrong!

It is recommended that after the first 2 weeks to go on a 12 hour on – 12 hour off feeding schedule. This will help ensure healthy, heavy birds when you are ready for processing.

*Available January through November

    Very nice Birds! Great eating!

I have purchased this type of broilers from just about every hatchery east of the Mississippi, and I never have a problem with birds from Townline like I do from the others. These seem to have a stronger disposition.
