Description at 1 day old:
Mostly yellow on heads, face, chest & belly with varying patterns of inky black stripes tracing down back & wings

Description at maturity:
Extremely similar to golden variety, but with jet-black lacing that outlines bright- white base feathering creating stunning pattern contrasts across body, wings, and tails that are wide-set and broad. Slate-blue skin with light gray, horn-colored beaks.
